Office of the CIO
The Office of the CIO is composed of three functional units that support the Division of Information Technology and its organizations. These units are:
- Business Services Office
The Business Service Office provides the Division of IT with managerial support. They are specifically involved with budgeting, purchasing, human resources, and contractual services within the Division. They also interact with many other departments within the university to sustain and enhance the efforts of the Division of IT.
- Communications, Customer & Employee Relations
The Communications, Customer & Employee Relations unit is responsible for developing and managing the identity of the Division of Information Technology. It provides communications consultation to other units within the Division of IT and develops and implements strategies to assess and manage organizational customer segments. It also develops remedial and damage control communications.
- Project Management Office
The Division of IT Project Management Office facilitates the completion of new technology implementations and upgrades. Utilizing industry standard tools and techniques, they are equipped to handle a wide variety of projects ranging from software implementations to IT disaster recovery.
