Computing Labs
Faculty Labs
UTS provides FIU faculty and staff with instructional and "open" computer labs. These labs are equipped with state of the art workstations (MAC and PCs) that allow you access to software applications, Internet access and printing capabilities. The facilities are available to FIU faculty and staff upon presentation of a valid FIU Panther Card.

Instructional Lab Reservations
Instructional labs are available for faculty who would like to reserve “open lab hours” with their students. To reserve a lab please visit the University’s Space and Scheduling department online by clicking here. You may also contact them via e-mail at schedule@fiu.edu with the desired date, time, and location for your appointment. Priority for registration will be given to faculty teaching online or web-assisted courses.

Student Labs
Open computer labs are available to currently registered students. These labs are equipped with both PCs and Macintosh computers. Logon access to the computers uses MyAccounts credentials. The labs are setup for pay-to-print at $0.08 per page using your FIU OneCard, which can be recharged online.

- Labs are closed on holidays in which FIU is closed.
- Semester break hours at Modesto A. Maidique Campus usually run from 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri)

UTS provides access to proprietary software within the UTS Open Computer Labs as well as remotely on eLabs.fiu.edu. For a list of available software, please click here.
