About the Data Center
The Division of IT Data Center is a robust and reliable provider of hosting services. It is outfitted with enterprise grade power distribution systems designed to run uninterrupted, even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All systems are fed with conditioned Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) power that will provide a smooth transition to power provided by an on-site generator. The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system is redundant to ensure continuous operation should one module be out of operation as a result of equipment failure or scheduled maintenance. An advanced fire-suppression system is in place to prevent any fires from spreading in the unlikely event that one could start. The data center is designed to function on a 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 days per year schedule. To ensure security, a firewall is provided to prevent unauthorized access to restricted servers. The Data Center is equipped with a firewall intrusion protection system with 24/7 surveillance and physical access controls.
