Video Conferencing for Meetings:
Time and travel often make face to face meetings difficult to schedule. Video conferencing can bridge those gaps and provide a collaborative communication solution. The two-way video/two-way audio and content sharing supports your meeting or event needs whether you are connecting between campuses or across the world.
There are several conference rooms available for scheduling.

Blue Jeans Network is a “meet in the cloud” application for video conferencing that is very easy to use and is supported by most computers, tablets and smartphones. There are 2 main use cases for Blue Jeans that are quite useful. All participants need to have is a camera, a microphone and Internet access.
- If you are having trouble booking a conference room that has a Polycom (very good for job interviews).
- If you have participants that are off-campus.
Blue Jeans will also allow you to display what is on your desktop for presentations or instructional applications. You can request a Blue Jeans conference at mtshelp.fiu.edu.
