Adobe Connect is FIU’s supported web conferencing application. Adobe Connect provides delivery of real-time course lectures and meetings. Currently, the Division of IT is in the process of transitioning from the on-premises version to the one hosted in the Adobe Cloud. The Cloud version of Adobe Connect features some minor differences; however, the core functions and features that you are used to will remain the same, as it is still Adobe Connect.
- May 4, 2017: Adobe Connect Cloud will become available to the FIU community and the current on-premises environment and Blackboard integration will no longer be accessible. Blackboard courses using the current on-premises Adobe Connect integration will need to be updated to use the new Adobe Connect Cloud integration.
