National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Conference

Collaborative efforts, between the Division of Information Technology, the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs, the School of Computing and Information Sciences, and New America’s Cyber Initiative, are bringing the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), a program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the U.S. Department of Commerce, to our FIU. FIU has been awarded a $1.25 million cooperative agreement with New America by NIST to host the annual NICE Conference and Expo over the next five years.

This year’s conference theme, “Innovations in Cybersecurity Education, Training, and Workforce Development”, inspires presentations that demonstrate creative, innovative and effective approaches that will prepare, grow, and sustain a national cybersecurity workforce.

The NICE 2018 Conference and Expo will be held at the Hyatt Regency Miami on November 6-7.
